MP 'honey trap' case: Accused's father alleges trafficking

Indore, Sep 25 (IANS) In a new twist to the 'honey trap' case in Madhya Pradesh, a case of human trafficking was filed against other women involved on a complaint by the father of one of the accused, police said on Tuesday.

Addressing a press conference, Indore's SSP Ruchivardhan Mishra said: "of the five women arrested on charges of blackmail, two are in police remand. One hails from Rajgarh district. Her father came to Indore and filed a complaint that these women had taken his daughter to Bhopal on the pretext of studies. On basis of the complaint, a case of human trafficking has been filed."

In his complaint, the man said that his family's economic condition was not good and two years back, a woman had taken his daughter to Bhopal for her B.Sc. and to prepare for competitive exams.

The woman from Rajgarh was taken by the Indore police to her village, where she accused some women of implicating her and claimed that she was blameless and forced to commit wrong acts.
