Mangaluru: Mime show on suicide prevention held at SAC

Mangaluru, Sep 25: The department of Social Work and Sociology, St Aloysius College (autonomous), here, jointly organized a talk and mime show on 'Suicide Prevention' on September 24 at Sanidhya hall of the college.

This awareness programme was organized to commemorate World Suicide Prevention month.

Ratna Pinto, volunteer at ‘SUSHEG’- A suicide helpline centre, Mangaluru was the guest speaker.

The occasion was graced by Dr Denis Fernandes, director admin block and Dr Vishanz Pinto, dean faculty of Arts.



The students put up a mime showcasing the causes of suicide both individual and social.

This was followed by an interactive session on awareness on the prevention of suicide by Ratna Pinto.
