Moodbidri: Tulunada Manikya Aravind Bolar inaugurates Alva's College Tulu sangha cultural programme

Moodbidri, Sep 25: Tulunada Manikya, Aravind Bolar inaugurated a Tulu Sangha cultural Programme on September 25 at AIET auditorium Mijar.

On 25-09-19 at AIET Auditorium Mijar, Sri Aravind Bolar, a famous tulu artiste popularly known as Tulunada Manikya inaugurated the Tulu sangha cultural programme and
spoke on the occasion. The programme was presided over by Alva's Education Foundation managing trustee, Vivek Alva and president of Tulu sangha, Dr Suresh K V was
present.

At the programme, Aravind Bolar talked about the importance of Tulu culture, Tulu language and said that Tulu speaking people have a very kind heart and broad
perspectives. He said that they treat their guests and everybody with love and respect.



He entertained Alva's students with his sense of humour and advised them to take care of their parents. He expressed that these days the young generation is busy with mobile phones that they get less time to attend to their parents. He advised the students to be devoted to their parents and to talk to them for at least 10 minutes other than normal routine discussions." He said that if people love artistes they should show that love and respect in the right way and should not indulge in creating fake youtube videos which hurt the artistes as it will destroy the name earned by them over the years.

Vivek Alva addressed the students and stressed the importance of taking this to another level namely involving in research and studies on Tulu culture.

The guest’s speech was followed by various cultural programmes and students enriched their experience and knowledge on Tulu culture.
