Cong, Rahul heap praises on Manmohan on his birthday

New Delhi, Sep 26 (IANS): Congress leader Rahul Gandhi wished former prime minister Manmohan Singh on his birthday on Thursday. The Congress party released a short audio-visual clip on the occasion listing the "achievements" of the party leader.

"On his birthday, let us acknowledge Dr Manmohan Singh Ji's selfless service, dedication & incredible contribution to the cause of nation building," Rahul Gandhi wrote on Twitter.

"As we celebrate former PM Dr Manmohan Singh, we look back at some of his greatest achievements. He has served our country for several decades & continues to do so with his renowned intelligence, humility & dedication," tweeted the Congress party's official handle attaching an audio-visual clip listing the "achievements" of the former PM.

The clip described Singh as a "visionary economist" and tracked his life from his childhood in Punjab, where it claimed, he studied "under kerosene lamps". It credited him with the liberalisation of the economy in 1991 as well as the launch of Chandrayan 1 in 2008.

Its a pleasure to wish "Many happy returns of the day and Gods Choicest blessings" to our former PM who helped Indians raise their head and walk the world over by his dynamic, effective and result oriented leadership for decades. We need MOUN MOHAN SINGH back to lead the Government. His actions spoke of volumes and his silence was GOLDEN.

Wishing respected PM MMS a very happy birthday. He was like a swan, gracefully swimming on the river when paddling ferociously under the water to keep floating and moving forward. But currently we have a bunch of geese making a lot of noise but not achieving anything significant. Taking credit of the hard work on the Armed forces and the space agency while not having the combined intelligence of a 5 year old child.

An excellent Economist and always thrived for the benefit of the citizens of this country.
He is always Maun but working tirelessly for the development of this country though the opposite party leaders criticized him whose leaders only boast and walk and talk with the press Cameras along with them to show off and hardly do anything in reality.
May God bless Manmohanji today in abundance with very many healthier happy returns
