NTT Ltd with 28 brands under one umbrella now in India


New Delhi, Oct 1 (IANS): Integrating 28 companies and brands globally -- including Dimension Data, NTT Communications, Netmagic Solutions, NTT Security and Arkadin -- the new $11 billion NTT Ltd company from Tuesday began its operations in India.

Netmagic and Dimension Data are the two big companies with huge operations in the country.

Kiran Bhagwanani, CEO will lead NTT Ltd. business in India, reporting to John Lombard, Asia Pacific CEO, NTT Ltd.

"Over the years, we have had the privilege of building multi-year technology partnerships and providing managed IT services to marquee clients in India," said Bhagwanani.

With the integration, Netmagic Solutions will become part of the Global Data Centre Services business owned by NTT Ltd. and will be led by Sharad Sanghi as CEO in India, the company said in a announcement.

"The creation of Global Data Center and Cloud Services division will strengthen our growth plans in the Indian subcontinent. Netmagic aims to expand its footprint to more than double its current capacity over the next few years," said Sanghi.

In India, the company caters to over 2,500 clients and employs over 6,500 people.

NTT Ltd has become the 11th largest ICT provider in the world. Launched on July 1, NTT Ltd. brought together 40,000 people from brands into one company.

NTT Ltd is partnering over 10,000 clients around the world, including leading organizations across financial services, pharmaceuticals, telecommunications, energy and utilities, manufacturing, automotive and technology sectors.
