New Delhi, Oct 2 (IANS) Amid rising crime in the national capital, a man identified as Jaspal was shot dead in Kalyanpuri of East Delhi on Tuesday by unidentified men, apparently for objecting to use of foul language.
In another incident of use of firearms, a youth identified as Mohammad Abbas, was shot at by some unidentified men at 3.45 p.m. in the Brahmapuri area of Northeast Delhi.
He was taken to a hospital with bullet injuries in neck. He is undergoing treatment.
Deputy Commissioner of Police of northeast Delhi Ved Prakash Surya said the victim was out of danger.
