Moodbidri: Pillion Rider dies in Accident

Moodbidri, Jul 23: In an accident that occurred in the evening of Wednesday July 22 at Vidyagiri in the town, the pillion rider  of a motor bike, named Yashwant Gowda (28) from Mundevu in Ganjimutt lost his life. Bike rider Ashraf suffered injuries.

Ashraf was coming from Moodbidri along with friend Yashwant Gowda on the pillion, when a college bus reportedly hit the motor bike. Yashwant Gowda was a conductor by profession while Ashraf is a rickhaw driver.

A case has been registered in Moodbidri police station.
