UP Cong MLA Aditi Singh who had rumoured 'marriage' with Rahul to join BJP?

Daijiworld Media Network - New Delhi

Lucknow, Oct 3: In massive setback to Congress party in Uttar Pradesh (UP), especially the Gandhi family, Aditi Singh, Congress MLA from Sonia Gandhi's Rae Bareli Lok Sabha constituency, who defied Congress dictate to boycott the ongoing special assembly session of UP, and also skipped Priyanka Gandhi's 'Gandhi March' on October 2, has now given all signals to her party and opposition that she might join Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP).

The legislator’s father, Akhilesh Singh, is an influential local leader and close to the Gandhi family. Interim party president Sonia Gandhi represents Rae Bareli in Parliament. The Lok Sabha seat has five Assembly segments, of which two are with the Congress, two with the BJP and one with the Samajwadi Party.

The Congress high command had recently elevated Singh to Maharashtra.

Showering praise on Yogi, Singh, a first time MLA said under BJP government, houses were being allotted to the poor in an impartial manner while in the past this used to be riddled with caste consideration.

Earlier this year, something about Congress president Rahul Gandhi's marriage to a fellow politician, Aditi Singh was widely circulated on social media. The photographs of the two leaders were doing rounds on social media. Aditi SIngh firmly denied the rumours and clarified that both her and Gandhi family have a close relationship from years.

Speaking to media after attending the session, Aditi Singh said, “The session has been called to discuss sustainable development goals. In my speech, I have only spoken about development. When Article 370 was abrogated in Kashmir, I decided to fully support it. Whenever discussions on development take place, we should think beyond the party line. I will accept whatever decision is taken by the party on my move to attend the session but my priority will always be serve people in my constituency.”

When asked if she had deviated from the party line, she said, "I rose above party line and tried to speak on development. This is my first and foremost priority."

She further said, “If you heard my speech, I only spoke about development and sustainable development goals. I practice politics the way my father used to do it. Whatever I feel is correct, I do it.”

When asked she was likely to take any big decision, she said, "For me, the big decision is to work more in the constituency.”

She is clever and intelligent. Why anyone will stay with congress while it's a sinking ship, with no head, no direction moreover no future for Congress. Sidda is implementing his own rule in Karnataka with congress, Parma is fighting for Deputy post. DKS is a done deal, as he will not come out soon. Soon Ivan will join BJP, then Lobo and rest will follow.

The antinational elements, radicals with affiliation, with hostile ideologies, have too been silenced, after removal of Article 370.... NRC is next on the agenda, infiltrators, who gate crashed with the help of Congress and TMC will certainly be identified and deported from India !!!! if we believe in your logic or assumption then why Sonia, Rahul, Vadra… still in congress. bcoz they are also having corruption charges. if every politician think beyond the party line on development subject then India become developed country. accordingly we should also change our attitude & write a good comments for any good work done by any politician.
