Mangaluru: Expert PU College Kodialbail celebrates Gandhi Jayanti

Mangaluru, Oct 3: Rich tributes were paid to the Father of the Nation, Mahatma Gandhi on the occasion of his birth anniversary.

Addressing the gathering, Prof Ramachandra Bhat, the principal of Expert PU College, Kodialbail upheld the values of Gandhiji and highlighted the sacrifices he made for the country. He further said that Gandhiji’s principles of non violence and ideals are more relevant today than ever before. He expressed his displeasure that Gandhian principles are being neglected in our country.



Karunakar, HOD of Kannada compered the programme. Deepak Pothnis, lecturer in Mathematics, Manoj Shanghogue K, HOD of Chemistry, Shwetha Kumari M, HOD of Hindi were present.

As part of Gandhi Jayanthi celebration the students of Expert PU College, Kodialbail organised a Swachh Bharath programme at Sulthan Battery, Mangaluru. They cleaned the surroundings thoroughly. They actively and enthusiastically involved themselves in it. The Swachh Bharath programme was lead by Karunakar, HOD of Kannada, Pramod Kini, lecturer in Hindi, Prathibha R Prabhu, lecturer in Biology and Wilma, lecturer in English.
