House of Fanusta opens its first flagship store in Jaipur


Jaipur, Oct 3 (IANS): Bringing in a blend of innovation, traditional craftsmanship and modern functionality through handmade art via artisans from five states of India, Fanusta, a lifestyle store with the diverse range of handcrafted decor, furnishings, furniture and modular kitchens, made an official launch of its flagship store in Jaipur on Thursday.

Speaking to IANS, its CEO and Founder, Shailander Kumar said, "Presently, artisans from five states namely Punjab, MP, Assam, UP and Rajasthan are working with us to create a handmade legacy. However, our aim is to nurture a network of 500 artists from across India by the coming year and establish a collective ecosystem of traditional craftsmen and new-age designers."

We have plans to open five stores across India this year, beside this store. Next, we are planning to launch our stores in Pune, Hyderabad, Gurgaon and Sikar in Rajasthan as it is our home town, he added.

"Let everyone grow and we will grow with them" is a firm belief that we stand by, he said adding that the company is working on revenue model with artisans to ensure they get a regular work, he added.

Coming from a corporate background, Kumar's last professional stint was with a telecom company. However, he quit his job with an aim to bring the art of these artisans on global platform.

He said he has plans to open 25 franchise stores by 2021.

House of Fanusta operates in e-retailing, interior solution, corporate gifting, space decor and art and Craft curation.
