Mangaluru, Oct 4: Gandhi Jayanti and Swachata movement programme were celebrated at Star Education Institute, here.
Hussain Katipalla, chief guest of the programme addressed the students regarding Gandhiji’s philosophy, 'Truth and non-violence' which is required by the students to be followed.
Prabha Naveen, principal of the institute addressed the students.
Haneef Bajal and Khader Sharef conveyed the message of Gandhi, Mohammed Saleem Malar, director of Star Education Institute said in his presidential speech, "If truth and non-violence are embedded in life, we will be great."
Various cultural programmes were conducted by the students.
