Chhattisgarh, Raipur, Sep 5: Lashing out at BJP, Chhattisgarh Agriculture Minister Ravindra Choubey, while attending a press conference on Friday, said BJP is 'seeking votes in the name of Lord Ram'.
"There is a huge difference between our Ram and their Ram. What does Ram mean for the BJP? A way to collect donations and do business. Seeking vote in the name of 'Ramshila Pujan' and carrying out mob lynching in the name of Lord Ram?" Choubey said at the press conference, as quoted by news agency ANI.
Launching a scathing attack on the BJP, he said that the BJP cannot possess moral right to the deity as Lord Ram is endowed in every corner of the country.

"Ram for Congress means Shabri's Ram, Nishadraj's Ram and Ram of the vanvasi (forest dwellers), Maryada Purushottam Lord Ram, everyone will be a part of the event," he said as quoted.
The Minister’s comment came when there are three more days left before the festival Dussehra is celebrated across India by conducting pujas and other customs.
