Mangaluru: Gammath Kalavidaru from Dubai to stage 'Bayyamallige' drama

Mangaluru, Oct 7: For the first time, a drama team from Dubai will be coming down to Mangaluru and presenting a drama on October 11 at the Town Hall of the city.

The team of 'Gammath Kalavidaru' from Dubai will be presenting 'Bayyamallige' drama with the cooperation of Lakumai drama troupe of stage actor Kishore D Shetty. This play will be a part of the annual celebration of Rangachavadi cultural organization.

In the present days, where the screen type of drams are almost extinct, the artistes from Dubai will be presenting the drama Bayyamallige, which is written 54 years ago by Dr Sanjeeva Dandakeri. The specialty is that the artiste troupe from Dubai is presenting this mature family drama under the direction of Vishwanath Shetty.

The Gammath Kalavidaru team of Dubai includes Vasu Shetty Pejavara, Chidananda Poojary Vamanjoor, Donald Correa Pernal, Kiran Shetty, Roopesh Kalladka, Deepak SP Karmar, Jes Bayar, Ramesh Suvarna Sasihitlu, Sandeep Devadiga Barke, Prashant Nayar Jappinamogaru, Suvarna Satish Poojari Belapu, Deephti Dhanaraj Padubidri, Shashi Shetty Hiriadka, Satish Ullal, Ashok Bailoor, Sangeetha Shubhakara Belapu, Director : Vishwanath Shetty

Abu Dhabi Karnataka Sangha president Sarvotham Shetty will receive 'Ranga Chavadi' award during this event
