Mangaluru Oct 9: The audio CD of the upcoming Tulu movie 'English' directed by Sooraj Shetty was released by veteran Sandalwood actor, Ananth Nag, at the Dasara programme at Lalbagh on Tuesday October 8. 

‘English’ movie has been produced by Harish Sherigar and Sharmila Sherigar, under the banner ACME Movies International. 

Speaking on the occasion, Ananth Nag said, "It has been a privilege to be part of Mangaluru Dasara and to release the audio of Tulu movie, 'English'. 

“Producer of the movie, Harish Sherigar, requested me to be part of the Dasara celebration and part of this release event. I am happy to work in my debut Tulu movie and am looking forward to it," he added. 

The motion poster of Tulu movie, 'English', was released on October 6, which received positive response. 

Ananth Nag is making debut into Tulu movie through the said movie, in which he has played the role of a tutor. The movie was shot at Mangaluru, Udupi and Moodbidri in a 30-day schedule and has four songs in it. 

Pruthvi Amber and Navya Poojary are playing the lead roles in the film, while Naveen D Padil, Bhojaraj Vamanjoor, Aravind Bolar, Vismaya Vinayak, Deepak Rai and others are donning important roles. 

Krishna Sarathy is the cinematographer for the movie. Music has been composed by Manikanth Kadri. 

Earlier Sooraj Shetty had directed ‘Ekka Sakka’, ‘Pilibail Yamunakka’ and ‘Ammer Polisa’, while Harish Sherigar has produced three Kannada films namely ‘March 22’, ‘Hottegagi Genu Battegagi’ along with Anant Nag and ‘Yaana’. English will be debut Tulu film for Harish Sherigar as a producer. 

Mangaluru South MLA Vedavyas Kamath, former minister, Ramanath Rai, director, Sooraj Shetty, Actors, Pruthvi Amber and Navya Poojary, producer, Harish Sherigar, Sharmila Sherigar and others were present.
