UP govt remembers farmers only in ads: Priyanka Gandhi

New Delhi, Oct 9 (IANS): Congress General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra on Wednesday accused Uttar Pradesh's Yogi Adityanath government of cheating the state's debt-ridden farmers in the name of loan waiver and failing to compensate them for their crop loss due to excessive rain.

"The UP government has devised many ways to harass farmers. It cheated them in the name of loan waiver. Threw them into jails in the name of electricity bills. And there is no compensation for crop loss due to flood and rains. The BJP government in UP only remembers farmers in advertisements," Priyanka tweeted in Hindi.

The Congress leader has been attacking the Adityanath government for not working for the betterment of the state's farmers.

    What proof you need?
    This is not a police case or any court order.
    Mr. Modi in his elections campaign (2014) had publicly made a propaganda that the black money stashed in Swiss bank during congress regime would be brought back and distributed among Indians up to 15 lacs per person.
    There is no sign of the list of black money holders and how that black money turned into white or how it is accounted for .

    Everything is on hold at the moment because the BJP government has crashed the economy. There is no money to pay farmer. No money to build roads. No money to build temples. No money to install any more statues. And definitely no money to develop Amethi, even though that fraud lady has managed to win the seat.

    Look who is talking ...you and your brother RaGa remember constituencies, Hinduism, temple run, Tilak on foreheads , farmers, economy ..only once in 5 years during election , RaGa was shown the right place in Amethi that was your family bastion for decades.
