Noida, Oct 11: The 43-year-old woman who filed a complained against a delivery agent for hypnotizing and molesting her has now withdrawn her case.
On Monday afternoon, the delivery agent, identified as Bhupendra Pal reached the victim’s Noida apartment to pick up a few items to be replaced. Soon after, an argument took place over the replacement, the woman then accused the man of allegedly outraging her modesty. However, after her claims, the woman did not turn up to record her statement although she was informed about it twice by the respective police station.
Noida Superintendent of Police, Vineet Jaiswal later stated that the woman wanted to withdraw her case. She claimed the accusations were made by her sister and not her. But, Police officer Jaiswal professed that the accused delivery agent was present when called for questioning.

"He was questioned and left because there is no evidence against him. Moreover, he had been there twice to collect the product and the woman also spoke to the customer care of Amazon to get the issue resolved, which quite does not add up in the case," Jaiswal said.
Amazon India maintained that it has taken up the issue with its logistic partners. "Safety is of utmost importance to us and these allegations are troubling. We continue to extend our support to police as they investigate this," said a company spokesperson.
