'Article 15' holds special place in my career: Isha Talwar

Mumbai, Oct 15 (IANS): Actress Isha Talwar says working in "Article 15" was emotionally draining, but the film will always hold a special place in her career.

"'Article 15' is a film that holds a very special place in my career, as my intent was to make the people of our country question the various rape and caste discrimination cases we read about in the newspapers on a daily basis," said Isha, who became the IMDb breakout star of the Month in September.

"I played a role of a journalist and Ayushmann Khurrana's girlfriend Aditi, who helps him solve the brutal murder and rape case of two minor girls. Playing the role of Aditi was emotionally draining as it was an encounter with the truth and had to be portrayed in a way which provided the audience with food for thought," she added.

The actress, who has featured in projects such as "Thattathin Marayathu", "Bangalore Days" and "Kaalakaandi", became IMDb breakout star based on the data, which has been taken from her rise on the IMDbPro STARmeter chart throughout the month of September, which is based on the actual page views of more than 200 million monthly visitors.

Isha will next be seen in projects including "Roam Rome Mein" and "Toofan", which are currently in post-production stage.
