New Delhi, Oct 24 (IANS): US-based social video app Firework on Thursday announced its first original short format series titled "Reel, Reveal, Rajeev", based on actor Rajeev Khandelwal's life events, in India.

Firework is an application that allows users to create and share short-format videos. It is available on both iOS and Android devices.

"Rajeev is an impeccable actor and is accomplished across platforms. His diligence, passion and commitment are noteworthy which the users will applaud through this journey into the world of Rajeev Khandelwal," Sunil Nair, CEO, Firework India, said in a statement.

Firework aims to inspire users with such stories of inspiration, accomplishment and persistence.

Users can interact with the star on a weekly basis by following his Firework account.

In the series, the actor will give the viewers an "inside view of his world" in 30-second episodes.

"The makers of the app have been proactive in differentiating this app in this cluttered short video space. The features in the app are safe and interesting to use, which was the key reason for me to share my closest thoughts on Firework. I look forward to interacting with users on stories of my life," Khandelwal said.

The actor has been signed up for one year exclusive with Firework.
