Mangaluru: National level Management Fest Shriyans-2019 'SAMARTHYA' held at SIT

Mangaluru, Oct 26: A two-day national level Management fest Shriyans-2019 'SAMARTHYA' was organized on October 24 and 25 by MBA department of Srinivas Institute of Technology, Valachil here.

20 teams from different MBA colleges participated in the fest. Abhijith Shetty, vice-president, Juego Studio Pvt Ltd, Mangaluru was the chief guest at the valedictory function who distributed cash prize, trophies and certificates to the winners of the various colleges.

The overall winner in the event was SDM PG centre, Mangaluru, overall runner up was St Agnes PG Centre Mangaluru. The best manager was won by student of SDM PG Centre, Mangaluru. In the marketing event, first position went to St Agnes PG Centre Mangaluru and second position was secured by St Joseph College of Engineering, Vamanjoor, Mangaluru. In the Finance event, first position went to SDM PG Centre Ujire and second position was secured by University College, Hampankatta. In the HR event first position went to St Agnes PG Centre, Mangaluru and second position was secured by AIMIT- Aloysius Institute of Management and Information Technology, Mangaluru. In the Business Quiz event, the first position went to AIMIT- Aloysius Institute of Management and Information Technology, Mangaluru and second position was secured by Sri Devi Institute of Technology, Mangaluru. In the Best Management Team event, the prize was secured by SDM PG Centre, Mangaluru. The ice breaking event was won by Government First Grade College, Car Street, Mangaluru.

The function was presided over by Dr Srinivasa Mayya D, principal of the college. Dr Ajoy S Joseph, HOD of MBA department, Prof Rashmi, staff coordinator, Tejas Shetty, student coordinator of the management fest were present on the occasion. Rahila Banu and Asifa were the masters of ceremony.
