Sabalenka wins WTA Elite Trophy title in Zhuhai

Zhuhai, Oct 27 (IANS): Aryna Sabalenka on Sunday won her third title of the year with a straight-set victory over Kiki Bertens in the WTA Elite Trophy final here.

According to a BBC report, Aryna, 21, from Belarus cruised to a 6-4, 6-2 triumph over the Dutch top seed to collect the second-tier version of the season-ending WTA Finals.

She has previously won the Wuhan Open in September and Shenzhen Open in January.
