Bengaluru: AICUF unit of St Joseph’s College of Law holds ‘Green Deepavali’

Bengaluru, Oct 28: All India Catholic University Federation (AICUF) unit of St Joseph’s College of Law, Bangalore, organized ‘Green Deepavali’ celebration on October 26, at Lalbagh Botanical Garden, Bengaluru.

Objective of this event was to sensitize the students about the need to nurture the nature for the generations to come. This initiative came up with a motto of ‘Save Green, Save Earth’. Each student celebrated this Deepavali in a special manner by purchasing a plant each and thereby spreading the message of the need to preserve the nature.

Members of AICUF, Thomas Alexander, coordinator, Roshan Melwyn Lobo, president and other office bearers were present. The event was organized successfully under the guidance of Fr Swebert D'Silva SJ, director St Joseph’s College of Law, Bengaluru.
