Mangalore: Beary’s Institute of Technology to be Inaugurated on Aug10

Mangalore, Aug 9: Beary’s Institute of Technology (BIT) will be inaugurated on Monday August 10 by B S Yeddyurappa, chief minister of Karnataka, at Inoli Padav near Mangalore University.
In a press conference organized on BIT campus by members of the Beary’s Academy of Learning headed by A Siddique Beary, he said that it is a mark of success of the academy to present BIT. “The institute is the first integrated new generation residential engineering college in the state as well as a green building campus”, he said.
“The institution has been formed with the intention of providing education to the have-nots where education has become unaffordable to them” said Beary adding that they did not “consciously demand donations or capitation fees”.
He also informed that M Veerappa Moily, union minister for law and justice, Dr V S Acharya, state home minister, and Aravinda Limbavali, state higher education minister, will also be present.
