Mangaluru: St Agnes CBSE School Bendore celebrates K'taka Rajyotsava in true solidarity

Mangaluru, Nov 1: The state of Karnataka was formed on November 1, 1956. To commemorate the completion of 64 years, St Agnes CBSE School, Bendore, here, celebrated the day with great fervour.

The chief guest was Shailja, lecturer of St Agnes PU College. The programme began with a prayer service offered for the betterment of the state and its people. The cultural programme gave oversight of the glory and importance of the day. The chief guest spoke on the history of the state taking pride in being a true Kannadiga.



Students and teachers also showed their solidarity through an appropriate display through slogans, poems highlighting the contribution of various personalities who brought name and fame to the state of Karnataka. The Kannada Club conducted a patriotic competition during the week for which the winners were felicitated by the chief guest.

It was a day beautifully spent in the true spirit of unity.
