Udupi, Nov 11: “The necessity and demand of learning changing software is increasing in the current computer era. It is because of the use of computer and software in commercial sector. Society partly relies on technology and its use is a challenge that is being faced in day to day work. The computers and improved software that we decide in the future, should simplify our work and be useful for society,” said senior software engineer of Robosoft technologies, Udupi, Jackson Nayak Joseph. He was speaking as a resource person in a day’s ‘web and hybrid mobile application development’ seminar held by St Mary College.
Principal, Professor Rajan V N said that the seminar is aimed to get computer degree students acquainted with quality instruments and projects used in businesses. “Students will be able to learn software as it is hands on. Students will immensely benefit when they indulge in such technology."
“The seminar prepares students to learn software and it informs the jobs/designations available in them,” said computer department head, professor Lieutenant K Pravin Kumar in his introductory address.
Professor Prakash, Professor Divyashree, Professor Sushma, all students of computer science department and teaching staff were present. Rashmika rendered the vote of thanks. Vishwalatha Prabhu sang a prayer song. Dashika welcomed the gathering. Sadia Banu compered the programme.
