Kuwait, Aug 19: Konkani Kullvar/Kullvar Rangmanchi Kuwait, have announced that the planned celebration of Konkani Day on August 21, 2009, which was announced earlier, has been postponed.
The convener and committee of Konkani Kullvar and Kullvar Rangmanchi organizations said that they had to indefinitely postpone the celebration due to unavoidable circumstances. While expressing regret and concern over having to take this decision, they said, they greatly value the support of the Konkani people and have requested all of them to watch out these sites for a new date/programme.
