Mangaluru, Dec 4: Kannada movie 'Pencil Box' produced under Drishya Movies banner by Dayananda S Rai Bettampady and directed by Razak Puttur was released at Big Cinemas in Bharat Mall in the city on November 29.

The programme was inaugurated by renowned film director Vijaya Kumar Kodialbail. He said that the Kannda movie Pencil Box produced by Tuluvas achieve great success. Speaking on the occasion, chief guest of the event and well-known cinema producer Prakash Pandeshwar said, "Let Pencil Box, family movie, which has both government and private schools as its subject, win the hearts and minds of all class of audience."

The cast of the movie includes familiar and renowned faces of actors Aravind Bolar, Bhojaraj Vamanjoor, Ramesh Rai Kukkuvalli, Neeriksha Shetty, Aryan and Dayanand Rai Bettampady.

Deeksha D Rai, who is a household name in Karnataka through her fame achieved in reality shows like Dance Dance Junior and Barjari Comedy, is the lead female actor of the movie.
