Bahrain, Sep 6: Dakshina Kannada Muslim welfare Association (D.K.M.W.A.) organized annual Iftar Party for their members on 4th September 2009 at Century Intl Restaurant hall-Bahrain. D.K.M.W.A. is very popular Muslim Community Association in Bahrain under the presidentship of K.S.Abdul Razak who is a founder member and a life long president, despite of harsh weather around 250 ladies and gentlemen of Muslim community along with some well wishers gathered for Iftar Party.
President K.A.Abdul Razaq in his welcome speech thanked all the community members for the Iftar party and also informed that the D.K.M.W.A. is helping a lot of Muslim Community in Undivided of Dakshina Kannada community in Manglore.
He also informed that recently they helped in finance for poor ladies to get married and to be settled. Their main motto is to give good education to Muslim children and they offered several scholarships for boys & girls to do engineering & medical courses. Recently they organized mass marriage at Ullal and Meracara for their community. They also want to have close relationship with other community in Bahrain. They have annual day, annual picnic, free medical checkup etc. for the members.
President also said that they have a facility to help low income Muslims by way of loan without interest on installment basis; they also repatriate the body of human remains of poor people to their native place.
The members and guests were treated with Iftar dinner.
Secretry M.A.Khaleel Basha gave vote of thanks for all the member who helped the Iftar party in a grand manner and also praised Dajiworld for their well support as and when they have their function.
