Mangalore, Sep 7: Mangalore University has conferred the Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in business administration, on Dr Sunita Saldanha, principal, Alva's College of Hospital Administration, Moodbidri in the district.
Dr Sunita Saldanha (e-mail: sunita-sald@hotmail.com), wife of Dr Prakash Saldanha and daughter of Monica and A C Pereira, Karkala, is a resident of Valencia in the city.
She was awarded the doctorate for her thesis titled, 'Quality health care through patient satisfaction - a study with reference to district hospital of Mangalore'.
She was guided by Dr Mustiary Begum, professor in the department of business administration in Mangalore University.
