Mangaluru, Dec 14: A Coffee Meet-up and interaction with start-ups jointly organized by Innovate Karnataka, Startup Karnataka and K-Tech was held at Sahyadri College of Engineering here.

Jaikrishna Ramesh, manager-Marketing & Outreach and Abrar Ahmed, associate-marketing and outreach from Startup Karnataka felicitated the programme. They presented the new Definition of a Startup, Procedures to apply for Elevate/Idea2POC, Incentives under Startup Karnataka scheme, Centre of Excellence under Startup Karnataka and Global Innovation Alliance.

Prajwal M, community manager- IKP Knowledge Park gave a virtual tour of the IKP Knowledge Park established in Mangaluru and stimulated the participants to visit the premises and view the facility provided for start-up enthusiasts.

Pradeep Kumar from RDL Technologies Pvt Ltd gave a briefing on how Startup Karnataka through Elevate initiative helped to scale up their business.

Later, participants went around the campus and visited the in-house companies and start-ups. An interaction session with the students was also held. A total of 46 start-up heads of Mangaluru region were present for the interaction.
