I had the opportunity to visit my friend at Shirtady lately on a windy rainy Sunday noon of November 3, 2019. I have seen for myself the most horrible pathetic road condition with moon like craters on the entire 300 metre stretch of the road. Thankfully by the grace of God Almighty, my friend negotiated the path very well on his Activa. While traversing on the path I felt I should plant dynamite sticks on every 50 meters and blow up the path into smithereens. Such inaccessible roads I have never seen in my life time. For a moment I was wondering how the locals are managing this mess and if any of the guys protested with the local authorities and get it rectified. I feel very bad when innocent lives like Arun are lost for no fault of theirs. May his departed soul rest in peace and the Almighty grant courage to his family to bear the irreparable loss.
