Meanwhile, Lionel Messi's FC Barcelona will square off with Italian side Napoli and Serie A champions Juventus will face French side Olympique Lyonnais with Paris St Germain taking on German heavyweights Borussia Dortmund, as per a BBC report.

Bayern Munich and Chelsea will clash for a place in the quarters while Jose Mourinho's Tottenham Hotspur will play RB Leipzig, who are in the knockout stages for the first time.

Italian club Atalanta, who reached the last 16 despite losing their first three group games, will face Valencia.

The first legs will be played on February 18, 19, 25 and 26 while the return matches will be on March 10, 11, 17 and 18.

Istanbul will host the final on May 30 at the Ataturk Stadium.
