Mangaluru, Dec 19: St Agnes Alumnae Association is proud to announce the release of 'The Centenary Cookbook' on December 20 at 4.00 pm at A4 Hall, St Agnes College, here.

St Agnes College, a premier institution, established in 1920-21 is all set to step into its centennial year on January 3. Over the years, the college has proved to be a torchbearer of repute in education. While education of the girl child and women empowerment are recognized as a national priority today, St Agnes College has been serving this noble cause for the past 100 years and its alumni scattered all over the world are witness to this fact.

As part of the approaching centenary celebrations, the alumnae of the college are releasing 'The Centenary Cookbook' as a fundraiser for the Centenary Memorial Block. St Agnes College has made a difference in the lives of thousands of women for the past 99 years. Moving closer to home, the alumnae are releasing 'The Centenary Cookbook— A treasure trove from Mangalurean homes'.

This cookbook has been compiled with great effort to include the traditional dishes of the Mangalurean community. Priced at a nominal Rs 300, it is sure to be a treasured companion in the kitchen.
