Mangalore: Competitions Galore Mark KCCS’s Senior Citizens’ Day Celebration

Mangalore, Sep 13: Karnataka Christian Communication Service (KCCS) celebrated Senior Citizens’ Day at Bishop Jattanna auditorium, Karnataka Theologial College in Balmatta. Her on Saturday, September 12.

Singing competition, art and painting, story telling and fancy dress competitions were held for the senior citizens. Eminent singers Jagdeesh Shivpura, Anitha Samson, Sumana Aroza and artist John Chandran participated as judges. Senior citizens from various provinces in Mangalore and Udupi participated in the programme and cultural competitions.

The two-day programme was inaugurated by Rev Samuel Jattanna, treasurer, Karnataka Southern Diocese. Rev Dr H Cabral, director, KCCS conducted the programme. The programme will continue on September 13 wherein a grand finale of cultural events will be held.
