Delray Rawlins smacks 101 off 35 balls in 10-over tie


Florida, Dec 23 (IANS): Bermuda all-rounder Delray Rawlins hogged the limelight as he smacked 101 off 35 balls in a 10-over match at the US Open tournament here.

The 22-year-old left-hander hit a whopping 14 sixes en route his knock as his team Paramveer Tigers 19 won by 24 runs against Smashers on Sunday.

Rawlins, who announced himself as a future star with a series of eye-catching innings in Sussex's T20 campaign as a middle-order batsman, has played 11 T20Is for Bermuda scoring 261 runs and taking five wickets.

He is known for his clean hitting, useful fingerspin and excellent fielding.
