Wave Infratech felicitated by Noida Authority


Noida, Dec 23 (IANS): Leading real estate firm, Wave Infratech, was felicitated by the New Okhla Industrial Development Authority on Monday for its contribution towards the PMOs initiative of Swatch Bharat Mission.

The Wave Infratech adopted a stretch of heavily toxic drain near Sector 34 and ugot its waste water treated. It will be one of the first site in India where the waste water of drain will be treated without any diversions, interceptions and additional space.

It will continue to keep the drain clean and maintain it for the next five years. The treatment is proposed using In-situ Bio remediation technology in consultation with Bio-Cleaner USA. Wave Infratech is funding the complete project from its CSR funds.

The unique revolutionized, Green A, patented technology will help resolve the BOD, COD, TSS, Odour, Sludge and colour of the waste water.

Speaking on the occasion, C.J. Singh, COO Wave City Center said: "We are delighted to receive acknowledgement and appreciation from the NOIDA Authority for our efforts and contribution towards public welfare.

"Our group's ideology of ‘clean and green living' reflects in our initiatives and we assure that we will continue to work towards welfare of NOIDA."

The drain has been a problem since 20-25 years, affecting the residents around adversely. The waste water treatment will now provide clean and hygienic environment and add value to the Noida township.
