Mangalore: Office-bearers of GSB Temples’ Union Elected

Mangalore, Sep 15: The annual general body meeting of the Gowda Saraswat Brahmin Temples’ Union was held at the auditorium of Sri Srinivasa Nigamagama Pathashale here on Sunday September 13.



The new office-bearers of the union were unanimously elected on the occasion. K Radhakrishna Shenoy, Kundapur was elected president, while C Lakshman Shenoy as vice-president. Madhav Kamth, G Vishwantah and Panduranga Pai all from Mangalore were elected as treasurer, secretary and joint-secretary, respectively.

At the meeting, it was decided to hold a legal workshop to discuss on issues such as rules and regulations to be followed by GSB temples and protection of tenancy rights.
