Bellary, Sep 18: Bellary Diocese has taken a unique initiative for reaching out to the faithful through cyberspace. Its newlook portal (www.bellarydiocese.in) was launched recently to make best possible use of technology in the mission of the Diocese. Bishop Henry D’Souza launched this portal to keep the diocesans updated of the activities in the Diocese.

This portal contains a powerful article manager. It also contains useful information about the history of the diocese, priests, parishes and so on. A unique feature in the portal is the ‘learn the Bible’ link. This provides the user with a 365-day Bible study plan.

This website was gifted to the Diocese of Bellary by Vavia Technologies based in Bangalore.
