Mangalore: Painting Competition for Students at KMC Hospital Attavar

Mangalore, Sep 18: On the occasion of 'World Health Day', a painting competition for the students is being organized at K M C Hospital, Attavar here on Saturday September 19. The contest will be held from 3 pm to 5 pm.

The subject for the competition will be 'Work With Heart'. It will be held in two categories, ie., children studying from fifth to seventh standard and again, for those studying from eighth to tenth standard. Total prize money of Rs 15,000 will be distributed for both the categories together, the hospital sources said.

Interested students should register their names by calling 9964242207 or by sending e-mail to hr.mangalore@manipalhealth.com, a release said.

The hospital noted that over 500 students had participated in the contest last year. Hospital's chief executive officer Dr Sunil Deshpande said that this year, the hospital expects to receive more entries than the last year.
