Panaji, Jan 1: Goencho Avaaz slammed the government while holding them responsible for the deaths of the three young men at Electronic Dance Music festival Sunburn.
"The whole country is now looking at Goa as some drug haven," the organisation said.
Viriato Fernandes, a founding member of Goencho Avaaz criticised the Goa CM Pramod Sawant for giving more importance to revenue over the lives of the youth. He attacked Sawant stating that the CM failed at maintaining law and order in the light of the festival.
Fernandes also announced to organise a major awareness drive against the government to highlight its shortcomings.
