Karkala: NMAMIT delegates to attend Research Fellowship Programme at Ritsumeikan University Japan

Karkala, Jan 1: Two delegates from the department of Computer Science & Engineering, NMAMIT were invited to visit Ritsumeikan University, Japan under the Research Fellowship scheme. It is a programme for enhancing research exchanges between the youth of Asia and Japan.

Dr Aravinda C V, Associate Professor in the department of CSE and G Amar Prabhu, a student of final year CSE were selected as the attendees. This research fellowship programme is being organized in collaboration with Dr Meng Lin from Japan commencing from January 5 to March 30 under the project titled 'Accurate Recognition and Retrieval of Ancient Asian Literature using Deep Learning'.
