Abu Dhabi, Jan 1: The department of Education and Knowledge in Abu Dhabi issued an advisory for parents before the new school term began. They warned parents from using unlicensed transport services to pick and drop their children to school.

As per the advisory, parents are not permitted to use buses and vehicles which do not meet safety standards of licensed school buses.

This for the reason that licensed school buses have tools and safety equipment which ensures security and comfort to students.

For violation of the law, the guilty will be liable to pay Dh100,000 and Dh200,000 for repeated violators.
