Sullia: Five Injured in Bus-Maxi Cab Collision

Sullia, Sep 21: Five people were injured, when a bus and a maxi cab collided head on at Gopalapura, Kaikamba near Subrahmanya in the taluk on Sunday September 20.

17 people from Bajal near Mangalore, who had been on pilgrimage to Subrahmanya, were returning after paying obeisance at the temple, in a maxi cab, when their vehicle was hit by a Karnataka State Road Transport Corporation bus. Vivek Shetty, Vasanti Shetty, Revati Shetty, Mohini Shetty and Shobha Shetty, who were travelling in maxi cab, were admitted into a hospital, after suffering grave injuries in the accident.
