Mangaluru, Jan 4: In a tragic incident that occurred at entrance gate of Polali at Gurupur Kaikamba near Bajpe on the outskirts of the city on the afternoon of Friday, January 3, a rider was killed when the motorcycle he was riding collided with goods tempo head on.
Sukumar (35) is the unfortunate victim of this accident. Sukumar used to always travel by car. However, on Friday he took his motorcycle out and was riding the same when this mishap happened. He was working as a manager in MSEZ. He was native of Chettehithilu and is survived by father, mother, wife and two daughters.

Over-speeding and negligence of the tempo driver is said to be the reason of the accident. A case in this regard was registered at Bajpe police station.
