Bengaluru: CM Yediyurappa launches door-to-door CAA campaign, says no Muslim would be affected

Daijiworld Media Network - Bengaluru (SHP)

Bengaluru, Jan 5: BJP leader and Karnataka chief minister B S Yediyurappa on Sunday January 5 slammed Congress over the Citizenship Amendment Act and accused the party of creating 'confusion' among the Muslim community.

The statement was made by the CM while launching a door-to-door campaign by the BJP help clarify the Act and dispel rumours.

"Unnecessarily, the members of Congress are creating confusion among the Muslim community. I assure you that not a single Muslim will be affected because of CAA," said Yediyurappa.

"All the previous Prime Ministers have supported it, but Congress is creating unnecessary problems to create confusion among Muslims. That is why we are out on the door-to-door campaign," he added.

Ever since the CAA came into light, violent protests erupted across the nation. The Act seeks to grant Indian citizenship to Hindu, Christian, Sikh, Buddhist and Parsi refugees from Pakistan, Afghanistan, and Bangladesh and who entered India on or before December 31, 2014.

On Sunday, BJP leaders across the state went around their constituencies to create awareness on the Citizenship Amendment Act as part of the party's nationwide outreach programme to meet people and garner support for the Act.

    Manvit,
When you are supporting CAA, please Provide the link for that CAA document. If you dont have CAA document, then how can you suport that?
I am against CAA because Amit Shah clearly stated that Persecuted Muslims (Rohingya) and Tamil Hindus (from Srilanka) will not be given Nationality. Only one clause is sufficient to oppose it. But you need to read complete document to support it. PLEASE PROVIDE THE LINK OF CAA so that everyone can read it.

Example of Mr. Yedyurappa while explaining CAA is be like:

Suppose, If a person has 4 Children and he says in front of everyone in public that he likes 3 of them and that he has arranged a Party and invited friends of only those 3 children only.

Then he asks the fourth child that why he is disheartened when I have not said anything bad about you?

CM says No Muslim would be effected.

If you politicians see religion of the oppressed in his dying times, before helping him; every Hindu, Muslim, Christian, Sikh, Jain, and atheist is effected.

Does this CM have no other work? Instead of concentrating on administrative requirements, he is wasting his time and energy on problems that have deliberately created to divert the attention from a failing economy.

The more Congress go against CAA, they loose more number of voters. They don't get this because, they followed leaders like Siddu and Raga who cannot understand what is right and wrong.

More they secure votes the chances of dragging common man's life towards to the hell is very big. Duo Amit Shah and Modi wants to repeat Gujarat 2002 which they believe a ticket to the success.

All anti CAA are wasting their energy. They should realize that nothing is gonna change. The central government within its power will implement it sooner or later and the state government has no role. More bold decisions to come in the next four years. Protests will be there but Modi and Amit Shah will ensure order. Jai BJP, Jai Modi, Jai Hind.

The desperate BJP asked his senior colleague union minister Piyush Goyal to host a dinner on Sunday for Bollywood celebrities to discuss the Citizenship Amendment Act, in what appears to be yet another attempt by the government to garner support for the legislation that has sparked countrywide protests.

Speculation is already rife on social media as to whether tweets supporting the Act will emerge from popular Bollywood handles after the dinner.

In another case BJP workers' desperate bid to gain support for CAA, Many Twitter accounts had begun misleading their followers into calling the number on pretexts that callers would get “free Netflix subscription”, connect with job openings or even get in touch with phone sex operators.

The BJP of resorting to “desperate measures” in “desperate times” using fake account handlers like Char Loge 2.0, Vinitha Hindustani, Snehal_Ind and so on who offers free sex for support CAA bill or free data package or Netflix connection for 6 months.

It seems to be early election preparation for BJP if the government falls of majority in the name of CAA that has no national issues rather than Hindu, Muslim,Pakistan, Mandir.

This show you have doubt in the act passed. One side you say you will implement and your allied party also oppose it. Show the greatness accepting mistake in democracy
