Iran 'offers $80mn bounty for Donald Trump'

Tehran, Jan 6 (IANS): Iran has offered an $80 million bounty on US President Donald Trump for the death of Iranian Major General Qasem Soleimani, who was killed in an American drone strike, a media report said.

During the televised funeral procession of the top Iranian, official state broadcasters said on Sunday $1 would be tabled for every Iranian in the country, with the cash going to whoever killed the US President, mirror.co.uk said in the report.

"Iran has 80 million inhabitants. Based on the Iranian population, we want to raise $80 million which is a reward for those who get close to the head of President Trump," it was announced.

The January 3 US drone attack ordered by Trump killed Soleimani, commander of the Quds Force of Iran's Islamic Revolution Guards Corps, and Abu Mahdi al-Muhandis, deputy chief of Iraq's paramilitary Hashd Shaabi forces.

The attack took place on the Baghdad international airport's road.

The attack has led to widespread condemnation in Iran. Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei and President Hassan Rouhani has vowed revenge on the US.

Earlier on Sunday, Iranian MP Abolfazl Aboutorabi threatened to attack the heart of American politics.

"We can attack the White House itself, we can respond to them on the American soil," mirror.co.uk quoted Aboutorabi as saying.

"We have the power... We will respond in an appropriate time," he said, adding: "This is a declaration of war, which means if you hesitate you lose."

During an open session of the Iranian Parliament on Sunday afternoon, President Trump was called a "terrorist in a suit" after he threatened to hit 52 Iranian sites hard if Tehran attacks Americans or US assets.

Iran is the leader of the Shia Muslims and is against the Sunni Muslims led by Saudi Arabia. US led by Mr. Donald Trump is interested in selling arms and buying oil from the Middle East. The present standoff is nothing but business and politics. Iran is trying to control the Midddle East by meddling in Yemen, Iraq, Lebanon, Syria etc by sending its proxy fighters there. Likewise Saudi Arabia is also doing the same thing. But the latter is fully supported by US. If there is a full scale war the entire middle east will burn and the world will suffer. But US may not suffer. It is better for Iran and all Middle East countries to negotiate peace so that all countries will not suffer. It is foolish on the part of Iran to offer a bounty of US$ 80 million on Donald Trump. We hope and pray that better sense may prevail

Our Lady on Trump and why God has been merciful.

MESSAGE GIVEN BY OUR LADY TO WILLIAM COSTELLIA ON THE 12TH DECEMBER 2019
    MESSAGE NO. 799

Feast of Our Lady of Guadalupe
    ...
“And finally, I wish all the people of the United States of America to pray for those people who are taking it upon themselves to cast aspersions and calamities upon the President of the U.S.A., Donald Trump. I make it very clear to all children of the U.S.A.: be careful in judging a man who has been chosen by My Divine Son, Jesus, to lead your free Nation. He is a good man – and what certain Congressmen and women have said about him, is false and lies.”

“If they persist in the destruction of the Presidency, they will learn, that the way of discrediting a good man, will bring great destruction upon the U.S.A. and its people. It is only because of President Donald Trump, that God has been Merciful to the people.”

Ou Indian Army chief has said last week that we are fully ready for war.Now the trigger required is from Trump or Rouhani. I wonder why our Indian External affairs minister called Iran & US for restraint. When everyone in government is ready for the war then why negotiate. We can test our Rafale as we could not do last time.
