Opposition keen on citizenship to bomb blast suspects: BJP MP

Daijiworld Media Network - Hyderabad (SHP)

Hyderabad, Jan 9: Karimnagar BJP MP Bandi Sanjay on Wednesday asked Telangana chief minister K Chandrashekar Rao and Telangana Rashtra Samithi, the anti-CAA supporters, on whether they were planning to give citizenship to those people who were responsible for the 2007 Lumbini Park blasts in Hyderabad.

Addressing a gathering near Public Gardens, Sanjay said, "Would KCR want the government to give citizenship to all those who were behind planting the explosives in the Lumbini Park in Hyderabad a few ago? I want to tell that the BJP would not entertain the conspiracies of Owaisi brothers and KCR family."

He claimed that Owaisi's All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) was being funded by TRS and other Islamic countries to create unrest in India over the CAA.

The BJP MP alleged that this violence has taken place because there was no agitation following the Ayodhya verdict and abrogation of Art 370.

Time and again the Centre and the BJP have maintained that the law is not against any religion and instead is to provide refuge to minorities who have escaped persecution from Muslim dominated countries of Pakistan, Afghanistan and Bangladesh.
