Bangalore: Cases against Farmers to be Withdrawn – CM

Bangalore, September 27: The state government has taken a decision to withdraw cases filed against the farmers on separate occasions for holding agitations.

The assurance in this regard was given by Chief Minister (CM) B S Yeddyurappa at a farmer’s meeting convened at Vidhana Soudha to sicuss their problems on Saturday September 26. The withdrawal of cases would begin from Monday September 28 and also would request the centre to withdraw the cases against farmers with the railway police.

Yeddyurappa also assured to meet the delivery expenses with poor farmers expressing concern over delivery related expenses. The government hospitals will be given an order in this regard in a week, he said.
