Mangaluru: Milagres college holds Traditional Day, Musical Evening 'Popzilla'

Mangaluru, Jan 11: 'Popzilla 2020' was organized on January 11 by the Fine Arts Association and Students Council.

On this occasion, inter-class traditional fashion show was held to inspire the students to wear Indian ethnic outfit. As many as 18 students participated in the event.

Donald Pinto, retired bank officer, Oman, was the chief guest and in his speech he mentioned that the youth are the future and play a major role in the development of the country.

Alwyn Rosario and Eulalia Pinto were the guests of honour.

Fr Michael Santhumayor, principal, presided over the programme. Eva Manorama, lecturer in Commerce, compered the programme.

Anita Lobo, lecturer in Commerce, Milagres PU College, and Deepak Ganguli, proprietor of Surprize Events, judged the event.

Esmail Armaaz of I BCom and Minazira of II BCom, were chosen Mr and Ms Milagres.

Lunch was served to all students and staff which was followed by musical evening. The event ended with national anthem.
