Lava Z71 launched in India for Rs 6,299


New Delhi, Jan 16 (IANS): Domestic smartphone manufacturer Lava on Thursday launched its new budget smartphone Lava Z71 for Rs 6,299 in India.

The phone is currently available on Flipkart with a special JIO offer where the buyer gets Rs 1,200 instant cashback and an additional 50GB of 4G data.

"LAVA Z71 caters to this requirement with its great collective of features, comprising notch display, dual camera, face-unlock and fingerprint scanner at a pocket-friendly price. This launch is yet another endeavour from LAVA to fulfil its commitment of making advance smartphone technology available and affordable for all," Tejinder Singh, Head- Product, LAVA International Limited said in a statement.

In terms of specifications, the device comes with dedicated google assistant key which enables users to access a variety of apps and features, using voice command.

The smartphone features a 5.7-inch HD+ Dot Notch display with a screen resolution of 1520 x 720 pixels and 19:9 aspect ratio.

It is powered by 2GHz quad-core MediaTek Helio A22 16nm processor coupled with 2GB RAM and 32GB of internal storage which can be expanded upto 256GB via microSD card slot.

In terms of optics, 13MP+2MP dual-camera setup at the back along with a 5MP sensor with soft flash for selfies and video calling.

The smartphone is juiced up by a 3200mAh battery and runs on Android 9.0 Pie.
