Mangaluru, Jan 17: In an incident which happened at Deralakatte in the morning hours on Friday January 17, an automobile shop was gutted. Handiwork of miscreants is suspected.
Bharath Automobile shop at Vidyaratna Cross, Deralakatte, went up in flames as a result. Loss in the incident has been estimated to be several lacs of rupees.
The police who have reached the spot, are scrutinizing the damage.
It may be recalled that a couple of days back, a lorry and chairs loaded onto it, which were used during the protest against Citizenship Amendment Act, had been torched. The chairs and the lorry had been charred in that incident.
